Institute for Educators Intern
The intern will provide support to the Director of Education and her staff in developing, producing, and documenting the Music Center's weeklong Institutes for Educators. The Institute is an intensive course designed for K-8 educators who want to gain skills needed to teach music, theatre, dance, and/or the visual arts. The course consists of opening performances, 5-day sequential hands-on workshops, and facilitation of teacher-created curriculum units led by distinguished professional artists and educators.
Marketing and Communications Intern
The intern is responsible for supporting various facets of the organization's marketing and communications department. This includes (but is not limited to) researching and writing for Music Center publications and press releases, supporting the web site, assisting with tourism outreach and participating in general marketing/promotional activities.
Presentations and Programming Intern
Intern will provide programmatic and administrative support to the Department of Planning, Programs and Presentations in the Music Center. Responsibilities include assisting with program implementation, event staffing, coordination and logistics, and the development and sustaining of evaluation tools for the department's two key programs - Dance at the Music Center and Active Arts.
