On October 20th the Music Center presented the Showcase of Artists and Artist Fair at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Hundreds of educators and parents spent the day at the Music Center previewing performances available to schools, talking to performing and teaching artists about their programs, and meeting with our education staff to learn more about programs and services available to schools from the Music Center. More than 50 touring companies performed at this year's event, including newcomers Boxtales Theatre Company, INCA, the Peruvian Ensemble, and A Gaelic Gathering.
